Experimental study on seismic performance of wood fiber cement infilled wall-RC frame
In order to study the seismic performance and failure mechanism of wood fiber cement infilled wall-reinforced concrete(RC)frame,a total of five specimens were made for low-cycle repeated tests. One of the specimens was a common brick infilled wall-RC frame as comparison specimen, two specimens were wood fiber cement infilled wall-RC frame with window openings, and the other two specimens were wood fiber cement infilled wall-RC frame with glass fiber grid cloth. The hysteresis curve, skeleton curve, ductility coefficient, energy dissipation and stiffness degradation of the specimens were analyzed. The test results show that the seismic performance of the wood fiber cement infilled wall-RC frame is good, the stiffness degradation rate is much smaller than that of the common brick infilled wall-RC frame, and the energy dissipation capacity is higher than that of the common brick infilled wall-RC frame after the specimen is cracked. The bearing capacity of the wood fiber cement infilled wall-RC frame will be weakened after opening the window, but the crack will only expand along the four window corners to the four filling wall corners, and finally form the X-shaped crack. The bonding surface between the wood fiber cement infilled wall-RC frame and the concrete is not destroyed.Adding glass fiber grid cloth to the surface of the wood fiber cement infilled wall-RC frame can reduce the generation of wall cracks, improve the ultimate bearing capacity and ductility coefficient, and inhibit the rapid decline of stiffness.
