Structural analysis and design on Shenzhen Qianhai Museum
The architectural design of Shenzhen Qianhai Museum is unique, the concrete-filled steel tube frame core tube structure system was adopted. In combination with vertical traffic,8 shear wall core tubes are symmetrically arranged as lateral force resistant components, and 12 externally inclined concrete-filled steel tube columns are arranged around the ring as vertical load-bearing components. The top three floors are equipped with cross story concrete-filled steel tube arches, forming a 94.8m large-span of column free space. The outer surface of the arches is connected to the core tube through steel beams, while the inner surface is rigidly connected to the floor beams and columns, which improves structural stability.By arranging parallel folded beams to achieve a layered triangular facade shape, the folded beams are connected to form a whole through vertical trusses and cross tie rods in the inclined plane, forming a force mechanism for the folding plate. The local internal forces caused by the offset of stories and facades are supported by the inclined columns. The rationality of the structural system has been demonstrated through specialized analysis such as seismic performance design, arch stability analysis, stress on stacked eaves, inclined columns and complex nodes.
