Structural design of counterbalanced asymmetric double-arch large-span roof structure of Zhangpu County Cultural and Sports Center Stadium
The design difficulties and key points of counterbalanced asymmetric double-arch large-span roof structure of Zhangpu County Cultural and Sports Center Stadium were introduced. The large roof double giant arch spans 132 meters and is asymmetrically arranged, forming an angle of 14.88 degrees with the horizontal plane. The middle section of the front arch has no support and the stress mechanism is complex. To solve this problem, counterbalanced steel truss was set between the front and rear arches to form a self-balancing system consisting of"tree-like"arch foot, front arch, rear arch, and stand V-shaped concrete oblique columns. In order to meet the natural lighting requirements of the building, the large roof was covered with high-transparency ETFE membrane material, which ensures its stress and stability through prestressed cables along the direction of the steel truss. The elastic calculation and buckling analysis of this innovative system were conducted using SAP2000 and MIDAS Gen softwares, and the elastoplastic dynamic response analysis and overall stability critical load analysis under rare earthquakes were conducted using ABAQUS software. The analysis results show that the various indicators of this system basically meet the requirements of the specifications, with good overall stability and seismic performance.
