Optimal design of longterm retaining structure for highfill slope in Guizhou Opera
Guizhou Opera is located in a basin surrounded by highfill municipal road slopes. Its construction resulted in excavation of slope and out-of-code upright permanent foundation pit slope with a total height of 30m.According to the needs of the project construction, the whole process of optimal design of longterm retaining structure was carried out, including the optimization of geotechnical and hydrological parameters, the overall support scheme design, the parameterized design of pile anchors, and the design of pit-in-pit.After optimization, pile anchors were used for temporary support during the excavation phase of the foundation pit;pile bracing was used for permanent support during the operation phase, which was beared by the shearwall tube of the theatre. The combination of the finite element method and m method in design was used to ensure the safety of the retaining structure, buildings, and municipal roads. The measured deformation of the supporting piles is basically consistent with the finite element calculation.
