Traditional extensive construction methods suffer from issues such as environmental pollution and excessive energy consumption.In recent years,the building industry has been transitioning towards green and energy-efficient practices,promoting the development of steel structures is seen as a crucial method and necessary path to achieving this transformation.Steel structure offer advantages such as light self-weight,high strength,and easy installation.Various steel structural systems have emerged to meet the current societal needs.To advance the development and engineering applications of novel steel structural system,combineing the research directions and achievements of the author's research group in recent years,three structural systems:prefabricated steel structures,adaptive tension rod structures,and stainless steel structures were detaily summaried and introducted.
