Review of research on reinforced concrete column-steel beam hybrid structural system
The reinforced concrete column-steel beam(RCS)hybrid structural system is composed of two different materials:steel and concrete. It combines the respective advantages of steel and concrete structures, fully utilizes material properties, and is an efficient, economical, and low-carbon structural form.It is one of the structural systems that have been extensively studied and applied both domestically and internationally. The present status and progress of domestic and foreign research on the basic mechanical characteristics, seismic behavior, and shear bearing capacity calculation methods of RCS joints, overall structural seismic performance and resistance to continuous collapse,as well as the structures with recoverable functionality were summarized and analyzed. The future research focus and development trend were prospected, which is of important significance for improving the research and design level of RCS hybrid structures, and promoting the engineering application of RCS hybrid structures in China.
