Practice and prospects of integrated consulting in geotechnical engineering
The uncertainty of geotechnical engineering and the independence of survey,design,and construction units may lead to engineering risks such as unreasonable design schemes and unreliable construction quality.It is necessary to use rich engineering experience,profound understanding of water and soil,correct conceptual design,and control of key construction techniques to carry out integrated consulting for geotechnical engineering projects,which can save geotechnical engineering costs,identify and avoid geotechnical engineering risks in advance,and solve geotechnical engineering problems throughout the life cycle of the project.By introducing several typical engineering cases,the application of integrated geotechnical engineering consulting in pile foundation engineering,foundation reinforcement engineering,excavation engineering,and underground structure anti-floating engineering was specifically demonstrated.The technical methods of integrated geotechnical engineering consulting were detailed expounded.Finally,the key points of consulting work in the pre-construction,construction,and post-construction stages of geotechnical engineering projects were identified,and the research direction for future integrated consulting in geotechnical engineering were proposed.
