Numerical analysis on progressive collapse of steel frame structures under fire conditions
The numerical analysis of progressive collapse of steel frame structures under fire conditions was carried out by using the fire response analysis method of reinforced concrete floor based on layered shell element, beam and column component based on fiber element, and compared with the existing test results of reinforced concrete floor, steel column and plane steel frame. The results show that this method can accurately simulate the fire response of reinforced concrete floor, beam and column components. On this basis, the numerical simulation of the whole process from fire to collapse of an 8-story steel frame structure was carried out.The collapse behavior of steel frame structure under different fire conditions was analyzed and compared. The influence of different fire protection time and fire location on the vertical displacement distribution and failure mode of steel frame was studied, and the simulation results of column removal method were compared. The results show that the simulation results obtained by the numerical simulation method are closer to the actual collapse of the steel frame structure.
