Application of structural health monitoring system for roof structure of Dalian Suoyuwan Football Stadium
The roof structure of Dalian Suoyuwan Football Stadium is a self-balancing convex cable-supported structure based on the extension of the tension structure. To ensure the structural safety after the innovative extension design and to solve the difficulties in the health monitoring of the structure,a structural health monitoring system consisting of a structural layer,a sensing layer, and a data acquisition and analysis layer was established for the roof structure, which dynamically monitored the real-time response of the structure under environmental loads. The intersystem load transfer paths from the load-bearing cables in the cable bracing system to the columns and diagonal braces in the column bracing system, and the load transfer paths and synergistic force responses of the'stabilizing cables-braces-load-bearing cables'in the cable bracing system and the'swaying columns-diagonal braces'in the column bracing system have been obtained. The results show that the mechanical responses of the tension cables and important connecting members under Class Ⅶ wind and temperature loads obtained by the health monitoring system are 45 kN and 85 kN,respectively, which can be used to assess the safety status of the structure in real time.In addition, the results of long-term monitoring, which overcomes the temperature effect error, show that the maximum stress change of the structure is about 3 MPa.
