The development of affordable housing projects and the current applications of BIM were introduced in this study,in the context of national vigorous promotion of affordable housing projects.To address current difficulties in BIM applications for affordable housing projects,a study was carried out on BIM digital handover criteria and tools.Research results were applied in practice to effectively facilitate the successful implementation of BIM digital handover of projects,thereby greatly improving the handover efficiency and outcome quality.The BIM-based"one-household-one-file"digital handover mode was applied in project implementation,as a solution to some problems of the conventional handover mode and a new concept and reference for the handover of similar projects.
