Taking the foundation pit of a residential project in the downtown of Wuhan as the research object,five excavation and support schemes were designed for different sections based on complex geological conditions.A grid model was built with two typical profiles and the foundation pit deformation in excavation was simulated by the finite difference method.Results have shown that the deformation in excavation was within the safe range of foundation pit monitoring,proving the rationality and effectiveness of the proposed excavation and support scheme.This study is of some reference significance for the excavation and support scheme design and deformation control in excavation of urban foundation pit engineering under similar complex geological conditions.
