RESEARCH ON PREVENTIVE MAINTENANCE EFFECT OF ASPHALT PAVEMENT
The study takes a certain highway project as the analysis object,conducts preventive maintenance on it,analyzes the changes in the pavement damage rate(DR)and pavement damage condition index(PCI)before and after maintenance,analyzes the implementation effect of preventive maintenance on asphalt pavement,and draws the following conclusion:the asphalt pavement of the highway is severely damaged,and the vehicle driving quality is not high,so preventive maintenance is needed to improve the service life of the asphalt pavement,Reduce the cost of later maintenance.After preventive maintenance,the Road Quality Index(RQI)and PCI index of asphalt pavement have significantly improved.Among them,RQI has the most significant improvement effect,and the proportion of mileage rated as excellent is 94.6%,which is 93.23%higher than before preventive maintenance;For the PCI index,the proportion of mileage rated as good or above is 78%,indicating that preventive maintenance has a good effect and can effectively improve the performance of asphalt pavement.
