RESEARCH ON CONSTRUCTION TECHNOLOGY OF IN-HOLE IMAGING IN KARST TUNNEL OVER-DRILLING
The geological survey method and the drilling and coring method, which are based on the experience of engineers, are often unable to make accurate forecasts of the overrunning geological conditions, and the geological radar method, seismic wave reflection method and other physical detection methods lack direct and effective verification after detection.Based on this, the new technology of long-range in-hole imaging for over-hole drilling was adopted at the palm face and the left and right cavities of the inclined shaft to provide a 360° view of the whole process inside the borehole,so as to accurately and clearly verify the geological conditions ahead and provide direct guidance for the subsequent construction plan of the inclined shaft. The research results provide effective support for the plan to enter the main cavern of the meandering inclined shaft, and the engineering application is remarkable. Finally, the key construction technology of in-hole imaging by over-drilling is summarised for reference of similar projects.
