NUMERICAL ANALYSIS ON THE SEISMIC RESPONSE OF PREFABRICATED OPEN CUT TUNNEL WITH LARGE SPAN IN HIGH SPEED RAILWAY
In combination with the engineering geology and landform of strata in which an open cut tunnel is to be built in a high speed railway,tri-dimensional finite element model containing strata and open cut tunnel lining is established to study the seismic response of prefabricated open cut tunnel lining using time-history approach based on viscoelastic artificial boundary. The weak parts of the prefabricated tunnel lining is presented. The results show that the response of stress and displacement in the segment joints at both the spandrel and foot of the prefabricated open cut tunnel lining is much larger in terrain with high seismic intensity, this indicates that these two are the weak parts of the open cut tunnel lining and should be reinforced using more rebars when designing the open cut tunnel.Additionally,as compared with EI wave and Wenchuan seismic wave, the influence of Tianjin wave on the fabricated open cut tunneling is much more serious.
