Macau Senior Citizen Apartment is redesign and re-construction and residential on the original foundation.There are a lot of the old pile original on the original foundation.If all original foundation is demolition,construction difficulty is very big,and dismantling is not cleaning,and there are unfavorable factors such as damaging ground foundation.Contrasting comprehensive economic and social benefits,reusing the old foundations.According to the bearing capacity of main body,adding new filling pile and the bearing capacity of PHC pile can meet the requirements of bearing capacity.At present,there are few researches on using old pile as building pile foundation for different pile types in China.In view of the difficulties existing in the utilization of different types of old piles,such as old pile detection,old pile bearing capacity reuse,crack treatment,pile foundation design and so on,this paper makes a systematic discussion,which provides a good reference value and practical cases for subsequent projects.
