Saline soil is widespread in Northwest China.With the increasing demand for infrastructure construction in China,the poor engineering characteristics of saline soil,such as salt dissolution,salt swelling,corrosion,sometimes seriously affect the safety and construction cost of the project.The bad engineering characteristics such as salt dissolution,salt swelling and corrosion of saline soil treated by replacement method and dynamic compaction method are remarkable.This paper takes the saline soil foundation of Lanzhou Zhongchuan International Airport Phase Ⅲ expansion project as the research object,and the experimental data prove that the treatment measures have a good effect and meet the requirements of airport foundation design.
