RESEARCH ON THE APPLICATION OF ENERGY DISSIPATION AND DAMPING TECHNOLOGY IN SEISMIC DESIGN OF BUILDINGS
A medical construction project is located in a high-intensity area and is susceptible to earthquakes.To ensure the smooth and safe operation of the construction project,energy dissipation and seismic reduction are adopted for seismic optimization design of the building.Firstly,analyze the energy dissipation and seismic reduction targets of the project,select appropriate energy dissipation and seismic reduction technology schemes based on project characteristics,and finally determine the building energy dissipation and seismic reduction scheme through experimental comparison.Experimental analysis was conducted on the two candidate schemes,and the viscous energy dissipation scheme had a maximum displacement angle of 0.001 9 degrees between floors in the x-direction,which was superior to the metal yield energy dissipation scheme.Simultaneously comparing the shear forces between floors of two schemes under different earthquakes,the viscous energy dissipation scheme performed the best.The research content provides technical references for seismic design and structural optimization of building projects.
