THE EVOLUTION OF MACROSCOPIC PROPERTIES OF CONCRETE ERODED BY HIGH CONCENTRATION OF SULFATE AND MAGNESIUM SALTS
By way of indoor test, clear water, and magnesium sulfate solution with a concentration of 50 000 mg/L and 100 000 mg/L were configured, and the macroscopic property evolution law of concrete was studied by appearance, strength, mass change rate, and relative dynamic elastic modulus. The results showed that,in 100 000 mg/L magnesium sulfate solution, the relative dynamic modulus of concrete was reduced by nearly 80%compared with that before immersion. It shows that the high concentration of magnesium sulfate caused serious corrosion to the concrete.
