RESEARCH ON THE INFLUENCE OF PARALLEL SHIELD TUNNELING ON THE STRUCTURAL RESPONSE AND GROUND SETTLEMENT OF ANTECEDENT SHIELD TUNNEL
In order to understand the impact of parallel shield tunneling on the structural response of the antecedent shield tunnel, based on the finite element analysis, two different construction conditions, main line before ramp and ramp before main line, were discussed. The impact of the volume loss rate of the newly built tunnel on the structural response of the antecedent tunnel was studied. The results indicate that the impact of the newly built tunnel on the internal force and deformation of the antecedent tunnel structure is primarily linearly correlated with the volume loss rate of the newly built tunnel. The construction condition of excavating the mainline tunnel first and then the ramps on both sides, the impact of the change in the volume loss rate on the structural deformation of the mainline tunnel is significantly smaller than the construction condition of excavating the ramps first and then the mainline tunnel.By comprehensively comparing the two construction conditions,it is concluded that the construction method of excavating the mainline tunnel first and then excavating the ramp is relatively reasonable.
