DISCUSSION ON CONSTRUCTION TECHNOLOGY OF VERTICAL SHAFT LINING FOR DEEP AND LARGE GRADIENT SECTIONS IN FLOOD DISCHARGE SYSTEMS
The spillway system's helical shaft in the hydroelectric station is a structurally complex transitional section shaft.Domestically and internationally, transitional section shafts often utilize conventional construction methods that include steel platforms, fixed steel formworks, and scaffolding, which present prominent safety risks and high construction costs. The application of the relatively advanced slipform construction method faces challenges like the design of slipform templates, the main supporting structures, and the structural changes in large-diameter transitional shafts. The study elucidates and compares the traditional construction methods with slipform construction, analyzing the advantages and disadvantages in the current construction environment and proposing prospects for the further development of slipform technology.
