The construction of comprehensive pipe galleries in the core urban area is one of the important ways to achieve urban renewal goals.As a major issue in promoting urban intelligent development,underground comprehensive pipe galleries provide a more intelligent and safer operating environment for municipal construction.Taking the construction project of Feitian avenue comprehensive pipe gallery in Nanjing as an example,this study proposes corresponding optimization measures from three aspects:foundation pit excavation,waterproof design,and safety management to address the design difficulties in the construction process of the comprehensive pipe gallery.This provides reference for the construction of pipe galleries in other cities under similar conditions.
