DETECTION AND APPRAISAL OF CRACKS IN THE BASEMENT WALL OF A MIDDLE SCHOOL LIBRARY UNDER CONSTRUCTION
In recent years, during the pouring process of basement exterior walls in many ongoing projects, due to the large length of the exterior walls and the constraint of end columns at both ends, temperature difference between inside and outside, untimely construction and maintenance,or premature demoulding, many basement exterior walls have cracked after pouring and demoulding.Cracks often exhibit characteristics such as vertical equal spacing, seam length approaching wall height, and gradually thinning and disappearing at both ends.Based on the actual construction of a library under construction in a certain middle school, this article introduces the entire process of detecting and identifying cracks on the exterior walls of the basement.Through comprehensive investigation and testing, comprehensively analyze the causes of such cracks, and based on the investigation and testing results, provide an appraisal conclusion on the safety of cracked walls.
