RESEARCH ON THE APPLICATION OF BIM TECHNOLOGY IN THE INSPECTION AND APPRAISAL OF EXISTING BUILDING STRUCTURES
With the continuous acceleration of urbanization,the structural problems existing in old residential areas are receiving increasing attention.the traditional methods for detecting and identifying existing building structures have problems such as redundant detection schemes,high difficulty in on-site structural testing,and inaccurate material strength testing.the application of BIM technology has brought new solutions for the inspection and appraisal of existing building structures.By establishing digital models,BIM technology can achieve comprehensive detection and analysis of building structures,including safety assessment of building structures,material strength testing,and seismic resistance testing of building structures.In addition,BIM technology can also provide visual data display,help relevant personnel better understand the situation of building structures,and provide scientific basis for structural maintenance and renovation.therefore,the application of BIM technology in the detection and identification of existing building structures has broad development prospects.
