RESEARCH ON THE METHOD OF BRIDGE ANTI OVERTURNING RECONSTRUCTION AND REINFORCEMENT
In recent years,the overturning accidents of single column piers on highway viaducts have occurred frequently,posing great safety hazards to highway traffic.Through the anti overturning renovation and reinforcement of a certain elevated bridge in Shunyi District,Beijing,this paper summarizes and studies the methods and construction precautions for strengthening single column piers on bridges.Targeted summary and research have been conducted on the reinforcement measures such as adding steel cap beams at the top of the piers,adding height adjustment bearings,adding limit structures,and wrapping steel plate hoops around the pier columns.A comprehensive study and analysis were conducted on the construction technology for anti overturning reinforcement and renovation of T-beams in single column pier bridges,in order to provide reference for similar projects.
