RESEARCH ON FIRE PREVENTION STRATEGIES FOR UNDERGROUND TRANSFER HALLS BASED ON SUB SAFETY ZONES
The underground transfer hall of urban comprehensive transportation hubs has the characteristics of high pedestrian flow, complex functional flow lines, and interconnected multi-level spaces, and there are often issues with fire protection design that exceed standards.Aiming at the fire protection design difficulties in three aspects of fire compartment design, evacuation design, and smoke control design in underground transfer halls, this paper proposes the application of sub safe zone strategies to solve the fire protection design problems in such building spaces. This article analyzes the technical measures that establish it as a sub safe zone condition from four aspects:fire load requirements, fire separation design, smoke control design, and safe evacuation design. It also elaborates on the method of fire safety demonstration through performance-based design. Finally, the application of this strategy in fire design is analyzed based on actual engineering cases,in order to provide reference for similar projects.
