RESEARCH ON MUNICIPAL ROAD SURFACE MAINTENANCE AND MANAGEMENT STRATEGIES
This study analyzes road surface damages on Xian's Chanhe east road,revealing that the primary causes of turtle cracks,linear cracks,rutting,and network cracks are the weakness and instability of the asphalt surface layer and base layer.Through road inspection,a set of maintenance strategies was proposed,including thin asphalt surface treatment,asphalt pavement regeneration,fog seal treatment,gravel seal coating,and slurry seal processes.These strategies aim to provide effective maintenance and repair solutions for different degrees of damage.The study emphasizes that regular maintenance and the selection of repair strategies that match road usage conditions are crucial for enhancing road durability and efficiency.
