RESEARCH ON COST CONTROL STRATEGIES OF CONSTRUCTION UNITS UNDER THE ENGINEERING GENERAL CONTRACTING MODEL
With the continuous development of the construction industry,the engineering general contracting model has increasingly become the main way of organizing and implementing engineering construction.Under the engineering general contracting model,construction units face more complex management environments and greater cost risks.The study elaborates on the concept,characteristics,and impact of the engineering general contracting mode on the cost management of construction units,highlighting the necessity of strengthening cost control.Based on the analysis of cost management theory and combined with the characteristics of construction enterprises,the article summarizes the laws and difficulties of cost control for construction units under the engineering general contracting mode,and proposes a cost control strategy covering the entire process of design,procurement,construction,and settlement.
