Taking the steel structure engineering of the second section project of a factory in Sichuan as an example,this study analyzed and summarized the application methods and ideas of BIM technology in steel struc-ture factory buildings,and ultimately achieved the full cycle participation of BIM technology in project construction,achieving the goal of efficient and green construction in the field of steel structure factory building construction.
