The research system analyzed the challenges in the design phase of the Bozhou Science and Tech-nology Innovation Center project and proposed targeted strategies for project duration and cost control.By adopting the design led EPC model,the implementation strategies of each stage of the project were highlighted,achieving effective integration of the design phase and enhancing integration and leadership in the design process,effectively improving project efficiency and economy.Explored solutions to design phase challenges,including change manage-ment,prevention and collaboration of technical difficulties,and design quality supervision.A comprehensive evalua-tion was conducted on cross disciplinary cost saving measures,demonstrating the effectiveness of optimizing design processes,enhancing coordination,and applying advanced technologies in promoting cost savings and efficiency improvements.
