The study effectively reduced the disturbance of the formation caused by the drilling and vibration process of the vibration pile by using pre screening of sand and gravel materials,pre reinforcement of the top of the vibration foundation,rotary drilling and drilling of boreholes,and the use of a new imported high-power vibration device.When the load value is 350 kPa,the settlement of the vibration compaction pile is only 49.21 mm,far less than the maximum allowable settlement.At the same time,the average characteristic value of the bearing capacity of the single pile composite foundation of the vibration compaction pile is 160 kPa,which meets the design require-ments.From this,it can be seen that the construction method proposed in the study can effectively ensure the con-struction quality of vibration compaction piles in sand and gravel formations.
