Experimental study on fire resistance of light steel keel gypsum board partition wall system after installation of junction box
This paper takes the light steel keel gypsum board partition wall system as research object, sorts out the differences between current standards and actual using scenes, and points out that the current fire resistance detection of walls is based on intact walls as samples for testing. But most walls require the installation of sockets and junction boxes, causing damages to the original walls to some extent. In this study, the fire resistance test of the building components is carried out on the light steel keel gypsum board partition wall body installed with junction boxes. The research shows that back fire surface installed junction box has a great impact on the fire resistance performance of the walls:for the wall with 90min fire resistance installed with PVC junction box in 500mm from the top, fire resistance shortened to 73min,reduced by 17min;junction box installed in the fire surface side of the wall has little effects on fire resistance;the higher the junction box installation position is from the ground, the larger the damage to fire resistance performance of the wall;PVC junction box has larger negative impact compared with stainless steel junction box to the fire resistance performance of the wall. The research results systematically illustrate the influence of junction box installation on fire resistance of walls, and provide references for the expansion of relevant research and the study of reinforcement measures.
