Study on seismic behavior of concrete-filled tubular column H-shaped steel beam node with unilateral bolted connections
In order to study the mechanical behavior and failure mechanism of concrete filled steel tubular column(CFST)-H type steel beam single bolt joint, the seismic test of CFST column-H type steel beam single bolt joint is carried out.The seismic indexes of the joint, such as hysteretic performance, skeleton curve, stiffness, strength, energy dissipation capacity and ductile deformation capacity, are analyzed and compared with the experimental data of the joint connected by single bolt of steel tubular and H beam, the effect of varying the thickness of the T-stub flange and web on the nodes is also explored through finite element simulations. The results show that the moment-angle hysteresis curves of the two specimens are"bow"shaped and have certain pinching phenomenon.Due to the interaction between steel tube and concrete, the ultimate load and initial stiffness of single bolted joints of concrete-filled steel beam are increased by 12.41%and 31.59%,and node ductility performance is also guaranteed respectively. The test results show that the junction of flange and web of lower T-stub is torn.It is recommended to strengthen the T section properly, such as increasing the thickness of T section web and flange or setting stiffeners. In the numerical analysis, the nodal load carrying capacity and initial stiffness gradually increase with the increase in the thickness of the T-stub flange and web respectively.
