Study on the Influence of Outdoor Radiation Characteristics on Human Thermal Comfort in Cold Regions
With the increase of urban population,it is particularly important to create healthy and comfortable outdoor open space for residents.Chinese and foreign scholars have found that outdoor air temperature, solar radiation, wind speed, humidity, and other microclimate parameters are the key factors affecting outdoor thermal comfort, but the study on the impact of various environmental factors is not complete, especially the solar radiation with significant transient variability and spatial heterogeneity. The study used a combination of questionnaire survey and microclimate measurement to conduct a 1.5-year experiment on the public space of campus in Tianjin from September 2018 to December 2019.The frequency of various environmental parameters obtained covered over 80%of the frequency of environmental parameters in Tianjin,in order to explore the complex impact of solar radiation on human thermal sensation and its interaction with other environmental parameters. The experimental results show that the influence of microclimate parameters on thermal comfort is much higher than personal factors, and the effects of solar radiation and air temperature on outdoor human thermal comfort are particularly crucial, with impact weights of 35.7%and 41.6%,respectively.The impact of solar radiation on human thermal sensation varies with changes in air temperature. In the air temperature range of 15~25 ℃,the impact of changes in solar radiation on human thermal and cold sensation is minimal. As the temperature increases or decreases, the impact of solar radiation on human thermal sensation increases. And it is concluded that the wind has a certain reduction effect on the thermal radiation of the sun, bringing different comfort effects to the human body under different background conditions. In a cold environment, high wind speeds exacerbate the cold sensation and increase disproportionately. In a thermal environment, except for extremely high temperatures and high radiation environments, the stronger the initial heat sensation, the greater the reduction of heat effect caused by wind speed, which is more conducive to improving people's thermal sensation. This has a certain guiding significance for creating a comfortable and healthy urban thermal environment.
