Development Status of Carbon Finance in China and Suggestions for the Participation of the Construction Industry
As an important tool to promote the green and low-carbon transformation of the economy,reduce carbon emissions,and help China achieve the carbon peaking and carbon neutrality goals,carbon finance has gradually emerged and realized sound development in China.The construction industry is a major source of greenhouse gas emissions in China,and carbon finance should be effectively utilized to promote the green and low-carbon development of the construction sector.This paper reviewed the current development status and overall characteristics of carbon finance in China,as well as the participation of the construction industry.It further analyzed the problems faced by China's carbon finance development and the main obstacles and problems faced by the construction industry in participating in carbon finance.And suggestions were proposed for the development of domestic carbon finance and the participation of the construction industry based on the current situation and problems.
