Research on the Current Situation of and Countermeasures for Construction Waste Recycling and Utilization in Guangzhou
In order to understand the current situation and existing problems of the recycling and utilization of construction waste in Guangzhou,and improve the level of the recycling and utilization,field research and data analysis were conducted to understand the volume,regional distribution characteristics,collection and transportation,disposal methods and types of recycled products of different construction wastes in Guangzhou.The analysis shows that the annual output of various types of construction waste in Guangzhou exceeds 40 million m3,of which,foundation pit soil and track waste soil account for over 50％of the total.The distribution of construction waste in different districts of Guangzhou is quite uneven,with the majority in Tianhe District,Huangpu District,Baiyun District,and Haizhu District.There are many enterprises engaged in the recycling and utilization of construction waste,but the overall technical content is not high,with limited product application and severe homogeneous competition.This paper summarized the problems existing in the construction waste industry in Guangzhou and the relevant policies in recent years and proposed practical measures and suggestions.
