Research Framework for Zero Carbon Pathway for Urban Residential Buildings in Solar Enriched Areas
The building sector,as a key carbon reduction area in China, and its zero carbonization have great significance for China to achieve the goals of carbon peak and carbon neutrality on time. The solar enriched area has strong solar radiation, long solar radiation hours and unique solar energy resources. However, there is no complete zero-carbon building design model suitable for the climate characteristics of solar enriched areas. This paper took a typical multi-story residential building in Lhasa,a typical city in the solar enriched area,as an example, and maximized the use of solar energy resources to achieve the goal of reducing energy consumption and carbon emissions through the"principal strategy".A zero-carbon design model was then proposed for urban residential buildings in solar enriched area through computer simulation and for excellent results.A general research framework can be summarized for reference in the study of zero-carbonization paths in different climatic zones and building types.
