Empirical Study on the Energy Efficiency of Lighting and Air Conditioning in Intelligent Building Environmental Control Systems
In recent years, there have been many studies on the energy-saving and emission reduction of building intelligent control systems, but empirical study focusing on their practical applications is limited. This study took the actual intelligent renovation case of a 14th-floor office building in Shenzhen as the research object, and conducted a 92-day empirical experiment using the"A-B-A"empirical research method. After installing the intelligent building environment control system based on the Internet of Things and edge computing onsite,a control group was set to scientifically verify its effectiveness.Three groups of experimental conditions of"A-B-A"set in July and September 2022 were selected for comparison, and the operating time data of personnel presence, lighting fixtures and air conditioning systems were collected and analyzed. The results indicate that lighting and air conditioning can save about 25.98%and 19.50%of energy, respectively, with significant energy-saving potential and green benefits. This study can provide effective and scientific empirical samples for the energy-saving of intelligent buildings both domestically and internationally.
