Study on Dehumidification Performance of A New Vacuum Dehumidification Film
Water vapor selective permeation membrane is an important component of vacuum membrane dehumidification technology. This paper applied a mixed solution of polyvinyl alcohol, sodium carboxymethyl cellulose, and lithium chloride on a needle punched polytetrafluoroethylene felt to create a vacuum dehumidification membrane. The dehumidification performance of the membrane was tested through experiments, and the effects of vacuum on the permeating side and wet air flow rate on its dehumidification performance were analyzed. The experimental results indicate that the membrane can operate stably for 600 hours. When the vacuum degree on the permeation side is increased, the coefficient of dehumidification performance(COP)of the membrane decreases, while the dehumidification efficiency, water vapor permeability, air permeability, and selectivity all increase. When the wet air flow rate is increased, the dehumidification COP,dehumidification efficiency, and selectivity of the membrane decrease, while the water vapor permeability and air permeability of the membrane also increase. When the wet air flow rate is 6 L/min and the vacuum degree on the permeation side is 30 kPa,the membrane dehumidification COP is about 3.12.When the vacuum degree on the permeation side is 90 kPa and the wet air flow rate is 8 L/min,the maximum water vapor permeability of the membrane is about 5 167 GPU(1GPU=3.35 × 10-10(mol/(Pa·m2·s)).This paper can provide a reference for the technical development of vacuum film dehumidification air conditioning systems.
