Experimental study on performance of chopped basalt fiber reinforced concrete with different sizing agents
In order to explore the effects of curing conditions, sizing agent type and volume content on the mechanical properties of basalt fiber reinforced concrete, the effects of 4 different sizing agents on the volume of chopped basalt fiber and physical and mechanical properties of basalt fiber reinforced concrete under 2 different curing environments(standard curing and low temperature curing)is studied in this paper. The law of the mesopore structure parameters of basalt fiber reinforced concrete with different sizing agents is analyzed by CT test, and the relationship between the macro mechanical properties and the micro pore structure of basalt fiber reinforced concrete with different sizing agents is verified. The results show:①Both the low temperature environment and the type of sizing agent will affect the mechanical properties of basalt fiber reinforced concrete, but the type of sizing agent has a more significant effect on the mechanical properties of basalt fiber reinforced concrete.②The type of sizing agent affects the optimum amount of basalt fibers in concrete. It shows the importance of optimizing the interface of basalt fiber chopped sizing agent to improve the mechanical properties of basalt fiber concrete.③Sizing agent basalt fiber can improve the sulfate corrosion resistance of concrete. And different types of sizing agent basalt fiber have different improvement effects on the sulfate corrosion resistance of concrete.④The addition of basalt fibers has a great influence on the pore structure inside the concrete, and the influence of different sizing fibers on the pore structure parameters of the specimen is also obvious.
