I Think and Therefore I am:In the Third Decade of Atelier FeiChangJianZhu
This article draws on the speculation on the philosophical proposition"I think,therefore I am"from Des-cartes,Kant to Merleau-Ponty,to parallelly examine Yung Ho Chang's intellectual trajectory developed in the thirty years of practice of FeiChangJianZhu.Making eyes,hands,and mind,heart,and soul as the starting point for spatial analysis,it borrows Merleau-Ponty's concept of embodiment to understand Yung Ho Chang's design approaches in the past ten years,and develops an architectural criticism that interprets design works by analyzing the author.
