In recent years,SHIGERU Ban has paid great attention to wood,continually pushing the boundaries of innovative wooden construction through harnessing the advantages of wood.Many of his works have become models of advanced wooden architecture in the world.The paper takes Shigeru Ban's wooden architecture as the research object,first analyzes his design concept;Then,the design method and technical strategy are analyzed from the Wooden latticed shell,Tree-shaped wooden structure,Pure wooden frame;The paper reveals how to co-ordinate the relationship between conceptual design,materials,structure and construction,so as to expand the possibility of wooden architecture,in the hope of helping the development of wooden architecture in China.
