"翼形栱"自唐代已出现,装饰于偷心造跳头或柱梁节点处,样式与构造关系均不同于常栱,通过词义辨析与实例分析,讨论了其施用目的和形制来源,检视此类构件趋于装饰化的内在动因,揭示了古代哲匠的设计意识与审美倾向.
Abstract
"Wing-shaped Gong"has been widely used since Tang Dynasty.It is often decorated on the end of per-pendicular bracket arm without parallel bracket arm on,or the joints of pillars and cross beams.It has the form of a Gong(parallel bracket arm),but is not essentially a Gong in construction.Through the differentiation of the meaning of words and the analysis of examples,the application purpose and visual effects of various types of Wing-shaped Gong are discussed,and their possible sources of shapes are explored,so as to examine the internal motivation and main path of such components tending to be decorated,thus to reveal the ancient design aware-ness and aesthetic tendencies of ancient artisan.
