Regional Collaboration,Value Enhancement:Insights from the Stock Regeneration of Rental Residential Complexes in Japan
The regeneration of Japan's rental residential complexes,which began in the 1980s,has transitioned from comprehensive reconstruction to stock regeneration.The strategies and implementation mechanisms focus-ing on regional resource collaboration and stock value enhancement offer valuable insights.This study first out-lines the development history of rental residential complexes and analyses the evolution of the concept of regional collaboration.It then summarises the implementation path of stock regeneration from three dimensions:goals and vision,classification and approaches,and mechanisms and measures.Finally,it presents the implications for China's public rental housing regeneration in four aspects:collaborating regional resources,enriching age demo-graphics,promoting diverse cooperation,and providing financial support.
