A Study on Yang Lihui's Thought and Practice of Nuwa Mythology
As the core object of modern Chinese mythology,the myth of Nuwa is not only because it is located in the core layer of the lineage of Chinese mythology,but also because its spiritual exploration coincides with the deep national history of modern China.If we start from MAO Dun and Gu Jiegang,the first generation of scholars who studied Nuwa myth,Yang Lihui should belong to the fourth generation of scholars.Yang Lihui's research on Nu Wa myth,with abundant research data,innovative theoretical perspective and keen academic thoughts,established Nu Wa's position as the first mother goddess of the Chinese nation.Beginning with the exploration of Nuwa's divinity,evolution and function in literature and field,and elaborating her new practice and new perspective in performance,tourism and electronic media,Yang Lihui and her team's overall research over the past 30 years has a paradigm value for the study of Nuwa's myth belief and the history of Chinese mythology.It reflects the transformation and evolution of the theories and methods of contemporary Chinese mythology and folklore,and provides a representative case for the system construction of contemporary mythology and the modern construction of Chinese academic discourse system.Nuwa's research on myth thought and practice not only promotes the creative transformation and innovative development of Chinese myth resources,but also speeds up the construction of philosophy and social sciences with Chinese characteristics.Taking the actual situation of China as the starting point,she explains the Chinese path,interprets Chinese practice,constructs Chinese theory,and builds the modern civilization of the Chinese nation.
