The Rise of New Subjectivity:Architectural Theory in the Age of Artificial Intelligence
The paper argues that the three phases of the 1970s,1990s,and 2010s to the present constitute the three departures of the formation of the new subjectivity. It analyzes the similarities and differences among the three in terms of technological and theoretical contexts, and further points out the role played by architectural theories.Borrowing the"human-technology"relationship in the philosophy of technology,it advocates for a more complex and dynamic relationship to understand the new subjectivity and attempts at a new agenda for architectural theory in the age of artificial intelligence.
