Synergy MatrixMethodological Construction of Existing Building Transformation Based on Spatio-Structural Interactions
The relationship between structure and space is an important design issue in the transformation of existing buildings.This paper analyzes the problems and causes of the collaboration of the two professions of structure and architecture in building transformation,and builds a cognitive framework of the collaborative design method for the interaction between"spatial renovation intention"and"structural transformation strategy",summarizing a typological diagram of transformation design methods for frame structures and masonry structures.This study provides a common methodological framework and language system for the collaborative design of the two professions at the strategic level,contributing fundamentally to the establishment of an inter-disciplinary collaborative mechanism in the transformation practice.
