This paper presents the architectural design of 1 Hotel Haitang Bay,Sanya.The redesign and rebranding of an existing scheme includes reshaping of building massing,optimisation of spatial form and its interface,creation of more open spaces,making of multi-level lush landscaped gardens with bio-diversity,use of natural and eco materials.The architectural design aims to marry sustainable aesthetics of the hotel brand with environmentally-conscious creativity and unique travel experience.
