A Study on Urban Minimum Living Standards Based on a Comparison of Domestic and International Relevant Standards
The minimum living standard is an important part of housing security policies in various countries,and provides a quantitative basis for solving the housing problems of low-and middle-income people in urban development through multiple channels to guarantee a safe,healthy living environment of dignity.Based on the housing problems in China's stock era and residents'demands for safe and healthy housing,this paper sifts through the history of development of minimum living standards,the living area indexes and evaluation index systems in the current standards of seven countries,namely the United States,Canada,the United Kingdom,Italy,Germany,Japan and South Korea,to identify the gaps and make suggestions for improvement in comparison with China's minimum living standards.
