A Study on"Tian"Dense Paving and"Jing"Scaling An Example of the External Space Organization Mechanism of the Traditional Residential Complex in Quanzhou's Historic City
Based on mathematical principles of traditional construction, this paper selects the traditional residential complex in Quanzhou's Historic City as the research sample to incorporate gazetteers and relevant literature with field investigation as empirical evidence. From the perspectives of walking path and spatial configuration,it explores the law of the interface sequence as shown in the"Tian"dense paving, and the spatial equilibrium relationship of the"Jing"scaling of the environment. It puts the organizational relationship between the two in the context of modern spatial grid design to extract the inlaying combination mechanism in pre-and post-regulation situations, hoping to provide a spatial organization method that emphasizes human-habitus behavior while different from abstract cultural symbols for the regeneration design of contemporary architectural complex.
