数据迷宫:佛光寺东大殿尺度设计"多解性"献疑

佛光寺东大殿的尺度构成规律具有"多解性"特征,从间架、材栔、昂制等不同线索出发,都能得出相对合理的解释,意味着设计过程或许杂糅了不同"逻辑回路".考察以塑像面宽、材广、佛台长等不同要素统筹整个设计过程的可能性后,发现几种方法间是互补而非互斥的关系,推测真实的设计过程应具有可反复进退、调和的网状属性,而非环环相扣的单线递进模式.
A Maze of Data:Doubts on the Multiple Solution of the Scale Design in the East Hall of Foguangsi Temple
The scale composition rule of the East Hall of Foguangsi Temple has a significant characteristic of multiple solutions,which can be explained in different clues such as the distance of frameworks,modular system,and slope of the inclined arm(ang),meaning the design process was not linear but a result of various approaches and solutions.The paper examines the possibility of using the width of the statue face,the width of the length unit(cai)and the length of the platform of Buddha as the dominating design element,and discovers that the relationship of the approaches is complementary rather than exclusive relationships.It further deduces that the actual design process should be repeatable with the harmonious network-like attribute,rather than a single linear sequence or unidirectional process.
